Grace Community Church Beautification – Saturday, May 5 at 9am

One way Grace strives to be a good neighbor is by maintaining and beautifying our facility, and this also makes our site attractive to guests and glorifies God. Help our hardworking facilities staff spread mulch and plant flowers on the property. There’s a lot to do, and together we can get in done quickly!

Cedar Lane Walk for Our Stars – Saturday, May 5 from 9:30am-12pm

The Cedar Lane Walk for Our Stars provides help for those who can’t walk or stand to their own, and those who can’t speak to find their own voice. Grace is pleased to once again support Cedar Lane School once again by manning water stations and cheering for the walkers as they raise much-needed funds for their school.

Serve the families of Cedar Lane by bringing signs of encouragement, noise-makers, pom poms, and any other items of support to cheer on the walkers. There will also be opportunities to help out with games.

We ask that children be at least 13 years of age to serve on their own.  Children under 13 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.  This event will fulfill service hour requirements in Howard County Public Schools.

Lorien Nursing Home Spring Carnival, Saturday May 12 from 1-3:30pm

Come on out to the Lorien Spring Festival. There will be a talent show, games and crafts. If you play music, sing, dance, juggle – you name the talent – we have a place for you! There are also plenty of other roles  as well.

We seek to be a blessing to both the residents and staff at Lorien. We go out of our way to reach as many residents as possible with an expression of love and personal connection. This includes transporting the residents (pushing wheelchairs) before and after the event and delivering a small gift to each one. You will be blessed to see how the residents and staff respond to your expression of Christ’s love!
