Take the love of Jesus BEYOND borders in a short-term missional experience. Our Beyond Trips are a life-changing way to live the gospel side by side with people all over the world. Serve alongside partners, encourage mission field workers, make friends, and share God’s love. Trips for youth, adults, and families are listed below with application deadlines.

This team will focus on praying for the Muslim world from within the Muslim World. Prayer is an essential part of seeing movements in Christ among the unreached. This trip will equip participants to be better able to intercede by attending a prayer conference and give the team an opportunity to conduct prayer walks through a Muslim town as they experience its rich culture and precious people.

This team will travel to East Asia to visit and encourage our field workers. The team will also carry out prayer walks and learn about the history and culture of the city.

This team will go to the Middle East to work with World Relief. They will teach English to refugee children in the area. The team will also carry out prayer walks for the region as well as visiting our field workers.

We will be partnering with Center for Student Missions (CSM) where the team will serve in different locations throughout the San Francisco Bay area working with local non-profits and ministries. The team will serve the homeless, work with children, serve meals, etc. The students and leaders will see how God is moving in the city and see tangibly how they can be part of that movement.

The team will begin their time in Bugembe, working side by side with the teaching staff at AOET’s primary and secondary schools to encourage them and share techniques that may be useful in the classroom. The team will also conduct child sponsorship interviews to update student profiles. The second half of the trip will be spent in Lira, AOET’s Northern Uganda site, where the team will work with the school staff and conduct sponsorship interviews.

This team will serve alongside the staff of Compassion International to visit sponsored children and their families. The team will host a bible days and engage children in the child development programs.

This trip is designed for high school seniors and college students to explore countries in Southeast Asia and East Asia. The team will visit our field workers. They will travel to two countries and four cities in the region. The team will also visit several historical sites to learn about the history and culture of both Southeast Asia and East Asia. Our goal is for our students to become passionate for lost people and live differently to impact the nations.

Students will serve as missionaries at Camp Barnabus, a summer camp in Missouri serving people with special needs. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to grow in faith and gain a fresh perspective by serving people with special needs. Students will help serve in the kitchen, wait tables during meals, or serve as a one-on-one counselor for a camper.

This team will serve alongside local field workers at Christ for the City International. They will conduct bible days and sports camps for children involved in various programs throughout the San Salvador region.

The team will help with education, acculturation, and gospel presentation to refugee adults and children. They will develop relationships with refugees and share the love of Christ with those who have been through difficult circumstances. Teams will add to the ministry by providing individualized attention and helping immigrants develop relationships with Americans.

This team will partner with Colleen Smith who runs G.E.M. (Gospel, Education, Mentoring) in Baltimore City. The team will complete various projects (room makeovers, classroom makeovers, etc.) by coming alongside local G.E.M. partners in the city. They will also run a summer camp for children in the area.
Southeast Asia SeptemberSeptember 6-14Adult$27506February 28
This team will travel to Southeast Asia to be a support to our field worker, coming alongside her in ministry activities. The team will also carry out intensive prayer walks for the region and for spiritual protection over the ministry of our field worker.

The team will conduct child sponsorship interviews to update student profiles. We are also seeking medical and dental professionals to accompany this team to work alongside the staff at AOET’s medical clinic. The team will participate in outreaches where much needed medical and dental care is taken to villages that don’t have access to clinics, doctors, or hospitals.

This trip is designed for college students and young adults to have the opportunity to explore two countries in the Middle East and visit our field workers. The team will travel to three cities in region. They will also visit historical sites to learn about the culture of the area.
