If you are planning a visit to Grace, our Grace Kids First Impression team members are ready to welcome you. Our Guest Desks in both Birth-PreK and K-5th are open for 30 minutes at each gathering – 5:15-5:45 pm on Saturdays, 9:00-9:30 am and 11:00-11:30 am on Sundays. Members of our First Impressions team will explain to you our visitor check-in procedures and escort you and your family to your child’s room for the service. During the check-in, please let us know of any allergies, health concerns or special needs. Parents with children with disabilities or special needs are invited to have a conversation with one of our trained GraceGEMs team members to learn how best to serve your child and family.
Our staff and team intentionally create a safe and meaningful weekend experience for children so we ask families to check-in children early enough so that they won’t miss any part of the program and lesson. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before the gathering begins to ensure a comfortable transition.
All of our ministry teams are led by staff and team coaches. All team members have name tag and Grace Kids t-shirts, which makes them easy to identify. If you should need assistance, all of our Grace Kids staff or team members are available to help.
If you have children Infant to PreK, please enter through the East Entrance and meet the Grace Kids First Impressions team at the Birth-PreK Guest Desk. If your children are Kindergarten to 5th Grade, please enter at the West Entrance and join us at the K-5th Guest Desk. However, either Zone Guest Desk has First Impression team members who are waiting to assist you. Click the map below for directions.
Check-In for Grace Kids
When can I check in my child?
Check-in begins at 5:15 pm for Saturday gathering and at 9 am or 11 am for Sunday morning gatherings. Check-In also closes at 5:45 pm, 9:30 am and 11:30 am. Families receive a set of matching tags, one for you and one for your child. Should a team member need to reach you during the gathering, the number on your parent tag will appear on the lower left side of the center screen in the main auditorium.
How do I pick up my child?
Safety is one of our key values and to uphold that value, we will not release a child to anyone other than the person who shows the matching tag. Families must present matching tags at the end of the gathering, to pick up children. If a tag is lost, please see a staff member or team coach. Families are asked to show identification for child pick-up if tags are lost or misplaced.
