5th Grade Transition to Middle School

5th Grade Transition to Middle School

5th graders no longer have a designated program at 11:15 for them.

All 5th graders are encouraged to attend either Saturday at 5:30p or Sunday at 9:15a.

Sunday, May 5 @ 9:15A // Middle School Preview

Kids check-in to Grace Kids as usual and report to small groups in Grace Place.  At 9:25, the Small Group Leaders and your kids will go over to the Warehouse (the building next to the west entrance) and experience the middle school worship and teaching.  The small groups will stay over in the Warehouse until 10:25, and walk back to Grace Place and you will pick-up as usual.

Sunday, May 12 @ 9:15A // Parents Attend

Parents attend the middle school program with your child.  No Grace Kids check-in.  Go directly to the Warehouse.

Sunday, May 19 @ 9:15A // Parent Meeting

Parents attend the middle school program with your child.  No Grace Kids check-in.  Go directly to the Warehouse. During the program, parents will be dismissed for a special gathering for parents to learn more about the middle school program, how to disciple your child during these critical years, and ask questions.

Sunday, May 26 @ 9:15A

Transitioning 5th graders attend the Middle School program by themselves.

Saturday, June 1 @ 6:45P // Blessing Celebration

5th graders & their families gather in Grace Place for a catered dinner, blessing letter readings, & message from our new Middle School Director, Nathanael Whisman.  Registration opens May 1. Click here to learn more about writing a Letter of Blessing for your child.

Tuesday, June 4 @ 6:00P // Jello Night

5th graders wear RED and bring red jello.  It’s a fun, messy event with crazy games.  Parents are encouraged to stay. Bring towels for your child and plastic bags for your car seats.
